Good afternoon. This is Jason Reath, the principal of Riverview High School.

I am contacting you today to provide some information on the recent student and parent perception surveys.

This March, students from across the province completed an anonymous online “Tell Them From Me” survey. The survey was an opportunity for students to provide us with feedback about their experiences at school, what they enjoy and value, and what issues need to be addressed.

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

The PSSC has compiled a list websites we hope might prove helpful to those of you seeking support and or information in the following areas:  Mental Health, Healthy Relationships, Substance Abuse and Physical and Intellectual Challenges.

All of us Royals would like to thank the community for their support these last few weeks. As you know, we lost a member of our Royal family with the passing of Mrs. Myers.

She was a wonderful teacher and is missed by students and staff.

Our thoughts continue to be with her family and friends during this time.

The English Language Proficiency Assessment Results have been sent home today with all grade 9 students and those students in grades 11 and 12 who wrote the reassessment in February.  This assessment is compulsory for all students in Grade 9. It is a High School Graduation Requirement and students must obtain a minimum score of Appropriate Achievement (AA) in both the Reading Comprehension Component and the Writing Component in order to meet this requirement.
